So how did we find it? Well, it's straightforward to set up and start using, and comes supplied with extra brushes and cleaning tools. The smart mop do its clean by going over the area in a back and forth pattern. The vacuum doesn't have any trouble going from tile to rug, or hardwood to rug carpet. It lifts and rolls up and over to the next room with ease. It navigated around kitchen chairs and kids toys on the floors with no problems great to watch. Still, need the occasional full wet mop, but this helps keep the kitchen floor clean enough between deeper cleanings.
ECOVACS DEEBOT M80 is up next and is one that is starting to compete with the iRobot Roomba. The M80 has a 5 stage cleaning system with smart motion cleaning and anti-collision sensors. Couple this with mopping function and Wi-Fi control it has a lot of exciting features. Let's check it out.

It had to happen? While most robotic vacuums are black or white in color, we have the first ARTful designed robot mop by VANiGO. Its eye-catching look made it impossible for us to leave it out for a review. The backstory of VANiGO is interesting as they have their own engineering facility for testing products, and this has been rigorously tested, has a 12-month warranty, and a 30-day money back guarantee, so confident are the company of the Smart Robotic Vacuum Cleaner. So let's take a look.
The mop uses GYRO navigation which can map your home by creating panoramic maps of up to 99.9% of your rooms. It's called Real-time Map Creation. At just 3 inches high it can go under beds, low furniture, and areas difficult for regular vacuums to reach. Other features this colorful device has included are a cleaned area memory and anti-drop, collision sensors.
It has a powerful 1400PA suction but without having to turn the TV up, as the noise level on this VANiGO A3 is quite low. The battery run life is up 120 mins and can return to the dock to recharge. Five cleaning modes with the VANiGO A3 a great competitive mop that can do long-time chore cleaning efficiently without any care.
What doesn't it have and do? Well, it can recharge and resume once fully recharged (usually 240 mins to a full charge.) It has a water tank capacity of 350ml, with a dustbin capacity of 800ml. It can be scheduled to clean via the remote control, however it doesn't have Alexa, Google Assistant, or connectivity with a smartphone or any Apps.
There is not an indicator light to let you know the bin is full. Also, there's no HEPA filter with it, so what are our thoughts? It depends what you're looking for the robot mop to do, and if you need some of the features it doesn't have or not. The biggest disappointment for us was the remote control wasn't color coordinated with the VANiGO A3 ARTful design.
This next one is more standard color from Roborock. The S5 Xiaomi robotic vacuum and mop is a white version although they do have models in different colors depending on your preference. It's a more expensive model than the last robot mop, but this has a lot the features that the VANiGO A3 didn't have. Let check them out.
It has a 360° sensor fitted to the top of the mop robot which ensures it can navigate and avoid collisions. Using laser smart sensors it will map the room and using their SLAM algorithm generates a room map in real time and then plans the best most efficient way to clean the room, pretty nifty. The 2-in-1 sweep and mopping S5 Xiaomi have a 2000PA suction power together with mopping robot microfiber reusable cloths.
The vacuum will work on hard floors and has a smart feature that identifies when it comes to carpet and has a pressurization mode which increases the suction power on the carpet when cleaning. It's self-charging and has dock sensing which allows the robotic mop to use its sensor, and this is a smart more reliable way to return directly to the dock for the mopping robot.
The side brush is omnidirectional and designed to be tangle free. So, Ideal for homes with pets or long hairs. It is a little higher at 3.8 inches but still slim enough to get under tables, chairs, and beds. The Smart APP control means you can schedule cleaning and monitor and control the robot mop from your smartphone while you are watching TV or doing other less taxing duties. if you don't want your carpets to be mopped, you can set up zones where you have carpets, or use the magnetic strips to insulate your carpets accurately to avoid the robot vacuum visiting them areas.
Last on the list is the Proscenic Robot Vacuum a well-priced floor mopping robot that comes with a ton of features. This low profile designed mopping robot works under desks, chairs and other narrow areas where the debris and dust may be hiding. It has automatic reverse rotation prevention; that stops it getting tangled in loose electrical wires, cloths, and rags on the floor.
Can move over multi-floor area smoothly with a height up to 15mm making its transition from hardwood floor to carpet, not a problem. What technology has it got? Well, three collision sensors for obstacles and more importantly stopping it falling down stairs or steps. It will negotiate objects such as furniture with minimal impact.
Its clean modes are a (three-step cleaning.) Sweep, vacuum and mop these do need to be set up, as it will not vacuum and mop at the same time. The filtration system is a dual filter which does incorporate the HEPA filter so will work perfectly against any allergens like mites pet dander, and mold spores. So if you are a sufferer of allergies and sneezing after getting the vacuum out, then this robot 790T will be able to handle it well. This Proscenic has its own APP which you can connect to your phone or Wi-Fi and schedule and control the robot vacuum and mop from anywhere in the home.
How did we find it? So it is easy to set up having two dogs it was a good test for the pet hair and was astounded at how much it collected, the bin soon was full, and if you don't empty it, it starts dumping the dust and hair back on the floor. However, the more times you use the robot mop, the less dirt it has to pick up. After running 1-2 times a day, it did a great job. With the APP if the mop gets into any difficulties, you get a message telling you there is a problem. Downside the manual is not easy to follow.
This model we found to be a great pick if you are looking for a robot which can also sweep. It works particularly well on hardwood floors, and runs reasonably quietly, which is a bonus if you are working while the robot is too. The Navigation system is good at detecting obstacles like furniture and moves around them well. The battery has enough power to clean without returning to charge.Comes with cleaning pads that you can reuse if you want or use disposable pads you have the choice. This together with the low height diameter of just over 3 inches the Braava 380t fits nicely under the lowest furniture. Final thoughts and considerations. The smart Robot does take longer to do the cleaning process against using the sweep mode options. There is also more set-up time involved with the mop. This being said, considering that it mainly automatic cleaning that it's still a great bit of technology to have at your disposal.
The Best Value is the iRobot Braava Jet 240. A compact Robot Mop small tank size, so would need filling more often than some of the other models, but for small living areas and that the battery does charge up quickly so could be an option.
A Robot Mop can tackle multi surfaces comes with a variety of different cleaning modes giving you options of sweeping, vacuuming and mopping damp or wet floors. The Robot Mop score better on hard floors surface and are ideally suited for hardwood, laminate and tile flooring types. Therefore if your house has different floor types include carpet, the Robot is a worthwhile option. If you have thick or high pile carpet, then this type of robot it is not recommended.
This model is a better choice for high pile carpet. DEENKEE Robot Vacuum, 3-in-1

As you read the list of the top robot mops that you can buy above, you will realize that there is a lot to take in and consider while buying your next mop robot that will make your life easy. So, there are so many to choose from well; the reason is simple – because every household is different and every home has a parameter that is important that they look for while buying their ideal robot mop and vacuum. Here is a quick list of some things to consider in your household before deciding which robot is most suited for you and your family.
The floor type in your house although most mop robots are suited to work on all kinds of floors, there are some that are more compatible with a particular type of floor. So, they’re called Multi-Surface Robot Mop If your house has only one type of flooring throughout – hardwood or carpeted - you can ignore all generic mop and concentrate on the one that works the best on your type of flooring. However, if your home is a combination of carpet and hardwood, you are better off buying one that is a Multi-Surface Robot Mop, so you can clean the whole house with just one machine rather than buying a vacuum cleaner and a mopping robot separately.
This one is a key consideration before buying a smart mop to suit you home. If you choose a smart robot designed for a smaller space than yours, you may end up with a lot of manual intervention like charging and having to clean/mopping parts of the house yourself. And if you get a one with more capacity than you need, you will be spending money on features that you don't really need.
The most common criticism from people who own smart mops is that the battery going flat even before it had finish cleaning and mopped the whole house. So, it had to be recharged a few times. Or the cleaning agent finished and had to be refilled with only half the house finished. This is not a problem in smaller homes, but if your house is large and have bigger rooms, look for the mopping robot which have longer run times and that have large batteries that can last for a few hours.
Does your house have pets? Do you have children or grandparents? These things can impact what type you should buy for your household. When you have pets in the house, you may have a lot of fine hair that can be hard to remove from the floor if your robot is not efficient and super effective.
On the other hand, if you have babies or young children or grandparents in the house that may need to rest or sleep during the day, then you should consider a robotic vacuum that makes less noise. In the review and list above of the top smart mops, you will find options that are less noisy than others models and are designed with collecting up pet hair.
People's perception of clean is different depending on how you want to look at it. And some are obsessed with cleaning and nothing but a perfectly clean home will do. While others are generally happy with a tidy, clean house, so there can be a massive difference there. With that being said it's still necessary to gauge how dirty your house gets.
How many people live in the house, do they stay home or are out most of the day, what is your lifestyle, do some parts of your house get dirtier than other areas. Do you end up having tough stains on the floors that need regular scrubbing to remove them? The answer to all these questions will help your decision to get a suitable smart mop that is well designed to meet the individual needs of your family and home.
In this article, we have tried to be as comprehensive as possible in giving you all the key pieces of information that you would need to find the perfect mop for your home. Let’s agree – every house needs a vacuum and a mop. But imagine you can combine the two into a single machine and top it up with smart technology, so you don’t have to worry about any manual work when it comes to cleaning or mopping your floors?
This is where a robotic vacuum and mop can come in very handy. This is perhaps one of the soundest investments and gadgets that you can buy for your house. In this article, we have discussed the top mopping robot that are best suited for your house.

This can give you a better understanding of what are the advantages and disadvantages of each type of smart mop and which one is ideal to clean the floors in your home. Looking at the best features of each robot mop and vacuum combo from the review list above, their pros and cons and also considering your personal household needs, you will be able to make an informed decision on a mop that will be most suitable for you.
Usually, this is a two process operation for the vacuum and mop combo, so, for example, you would set the robot vacuum mop to sweep the floors first and once this was complete. It can be set up to perform a wet or damp mop, depending on the model choose. These functions can be set via a smartphone or by App settings with the smart mop. The time it takes to mop wet or damp can take longer than the sweep mode due to the amount of work the smart robot has to do.
Generally, it's like any other electronic device we may own. You have to work closely with the Robot's to start with to get the best performance out of them. It's like your dishwasher at home. It doesn't just do all the dishes for you without you having to do anything. It's the same with a mopping robot; time needs to be given at the beginning once you start using them and the more you get used to using the better they will serve you.
And this will benefit you in the long run by have cleaner floors. The time difference taken to clean with the robot mop and vacuum in wet or damp cleaning modes are longer than that of the sweep mode, this is due to the extent of extra slow work the sweep and mop robots has to perform. This additional sweep and mop work can impact the battery life of the robot. The sweep mode is a lot quicker and can cover a larger floor area in less time.
